Holiday's are red and is filled with smile’s

They taste like lollipops  from a shop

They smell like  baking in the kitchen

They look like flower’s that has just bloomed

It sounds like the coldness touching the windows

It feels like candy floss in your mouth.

   Glenbrae school students  had science week on term2 week 10 of 2015.Senior students learnt about science experiments and these experiments were on  physical  and chemical changes of matter. Each other class when to other classroom to learn about what they had Done for science experiments.  

On Tuesday with Mrs Parker we were making bread and how to make butter by using the yeast.

On wednesday we went to Mrs Tofa classroom we learned about how does the apple turn brown and make bread.

This is the stuff we use to make the bread sprite, water, vinegar and L&P.

When we make the bread and we put it into the oven and all wait for the bread when we were keeping waiting for the bread Mrs tofa and room 7

student were playing a game during waiting for the bread.A

Today Glenbrae school student had our inquiry roadshow this is when all the classes share  what they have learned  by creating presentation posters, diagrams and hands on activation.        Today I learned about morse code.

A special time with family

               A special time with family.

On the long weekend Glenbrae school student use four days weekend.When? We finish   school on Friday and we use to stay home and enjoyed having four weekend.Why? On Monday was the Queen's Birthday and we were having fun went it was the Queen’s Birthday.    In the long weekend i went to play with my Brother and my Sister on the trampoline we were jumping up and down and we went on a line like one at a time  my little Sister went on the trampoline first and dan my Brother went  second and a went last and our Mum call us  to came and eat our food when we finish eating our food we went to watch movies  and  my Mom's friend came to bring my new bad when she finish   bringing  my  new  bad  she went back  to her house to eat her Dinner went my Mum came back from the rock i tale her that her friend came and bring my new bad and my Mum was excited that her friend bring my new bad and she went to go with my unity to my family's house and i went to brush our teeth and we went for a sleep on my new bad for me and my Sister to sleep on my bad and we but all  the bad back together and in the night time me and my Sister was sleeping on my bad.

On Sunday I went to church with my Mum, my Dad, my Brother, my Sister and me. When we came back from the church we have dinner at home with my family. After we finished eating our dinner, me and my Brother went to watch movies. Later on when we finished the first movies we went with my Mum to the shop and buy food. When we came back from the shop i help my Mum to put the food in the ice. When we finished putting the food into the ice and I went to have a sleep on the bed with  my sister and when we wake up in  the morning we eat food and we went to play outside on the trampoline. When we  had our turn to play on the trampoline my mum called me, my brother, and my sister to cum back inside because it's cold outside and we went back inside .

I used contrasting colour and made my picture beautiful.

Balloon game

On  a sunny morning, the room 7 students went out to play a balloon game . Mrs Raj took us outside onto the court, so that we can  play the game. She explained what we had to do ,  the  rules are that we need to hold hands in a circle and when Mrs. Raj throws the balloon into the air we have to hit the balloon up  in  the air but with our hands still linked. First to play the game was the boys

The boys linked hands as the rest of the girls ran two laps around the netball court. As the girls came back they watched the boys play their final game. The boys were screaming at each other to hit the balloon and one of the boys failed to hit the balloon and fell over. When the boys turn was over, Mrs. Raj called the girls over to play.

When  the girls started to play the balloon game we used the same strategy that the boys used. Which was, head butting the balloon, kicking the balloon and used our linked hands to push the balloon up. The balloon kept on heading towards the field, and whenever it did the girls moved along with the balloon. All of a sudden the balloon POPPED. The girls were frustrated but still happy.

                                   

Then we lined up and headed back to class. I felt happy that I learnt a new game and was angry that we didn't have time for another game.
