Henry the Explorer

               

        Henry the Explorer.


Henry’s footprints iced over because it was so cold and he couldn't find his trail back home.

He needs to find a safe place to stay for the night.Mum will be very worried.Suddenly Angus

started sniffing the ground.”What are you sniffing on the ground “ said Henry. Angus kept sniffing  

the ground and walking away.“Where are you going Angus?”Henry said.  “Wait for me!” Henry

was tired and hungry but he kept following Angus who was still walking and sniffing the ground.”I

think we are lost Angus,” Angus started barking excitedly.Henry looked ahead and saw a Police car

with it’s lights on.He ran toward the lights and Angus was still barking and running.The Policeman  

shone his torch at  Angus and Henry.”Can you take me home please, I've been lost and my

dog Angus saved us.” “Your Mum will be glad to see you“ said the Policeman.

Maori performance.

Today room 7 visit Glen Innes Library.There where people from Auckland {Tamaki Maukarau} museum to tell us a story about two tribes and how Tamaki Makaurau got its mountains{Maunga} the tribes were called Turehu and Patupaiarehe and how Prince Danny and Princess Amelia who went finishing down at Queen St river{waihorotiu}feel in love and went to live with Turehe tribe.

Science week

                                            Science week       


   Glenbrae school students  had science week on term2 week 10 of 2015.Senior students learnt about science experiments and these experiments were on  physical  and chemical changes of matter. Each other class when to other classroom to learn about what they had Done for science experiments.  

On Tuesday with Mrs Parker we were making bread and how to make butter by using the yeast.

On wednesday we went to Mrs Tofa classroom we learned about how does the apple turn brown and make bread.

This is the stuff we use to make the bread sprite, water, vinegar and L&P.

When we make the bread and we put it into the oven and all wait for the bread when we were keeping waiting for the bread Mrs tofa and room 7

student were playing a game during waiting for the bread.A

This is my presentation.

Today Glenbrae school student had our inquiry roadshow this is when all the classes share  what they have learned  by creating presentation posters, diagrams and hands on activation.        Today I learned about morse code.
