Kiwi Can-
Today for Kiwi Can I learnt how to respect for our community.
Respect for our community is doing the right thing at all times and keeping the community safe. Also showing others how to be good and to treat everyone with respect.
We also did some activities which was fun and everyone participated, that got the games fun and enjoyable. Most importantly I learnt how to respect others and how to communicate with them nicely.

Cooking Tech _ Tamaki College

Today we made fish pie which was amazingly delicious and yum.

Step one-Peel the potato and bake until it's cooked.
Step two-Mash it up and lay it out into the baking tin.
Step three-Mix tuna fish with half a can of mushroom cream and half a cup of mayo.
Lastly mix them well on top of the potato and top it up with cheese then bake it for 10 minutes.

Food Tech - Mince Pie

Mince Pie

Ingredients:

1 Onion
Mince

Frozen Veges

1/2 Cup of Water

Beef Stock

Spices & Pepper

Steps:

1. Dice and slice onion. Then fry until soft

2.  Add the mince and fry until it's cooked

3. Add mix veges and 1/2c of water

4. Mix with pepper, beef stock and spices.

Holiday Homework.

Holiday Homework...
During the holidays my class and I had been given homework's to do before we went home.
All the learning activities that I did was my Reading log, Collecting seeds, Math's, Writing, Riddles, Sudoku and also Good deeds.
I have completed all my tasks and I learnt so much how to play Sudoku which was surprising at first because it took me 2 days to learn it.
We also have prizes for  those people in room 7 that has finished their homework's.
What I love about holiday homework is that it keeps me learning even though i'm not at school.

Cooking Tech

During our first period, we went to cooking tech to make sweet chilli chicken. These were the steps to make the sweet chilli chicken :

Step One : Boil the chicken for 15 minutes.

Step Two : Lay it out on the tray.

Step Three : Top up with salt, white pepper, mix herbs and chilli sauce.

Step Four : Bake for 20 minutes.

Step Five : Enjoy the dish.

This was a fun hour of period cooking and we have learnt a lot about cooking!

Kiwi Can,

Today we learnt about Perseverance which was our topic for Kiwi Can.

Perseverance means to keep on trying so you could succeed. We also had two activities we played which was called pictionary and ball tag. In each game we had to show perseverance. We had so much fun and everyone participated. 

Music

Musics...

Today for music we played two songs while playing a ukulele. 

One of the songs we played are called le'aute which is a Samoan songs.

We also did activities which was guessing the instrument from different country's from 1 to 10.

I enjoyed listening to musics and also getting to play them on the ukulele which was so much fun and I would love to thank our musics teacher Mrs Bashnee.
