My Star dome.

                     The sun and the solar system.

On thursday we went to the stardome. We went on the bus and went to stardome we had intended after intended room 7 and room 8 came with us to the star dome.  Room 9 and room 10 went to play at the park. We learned where the sun is and we had look at the solar system. We  walked in the observatory classroom to look at the stars and we watched a video about tilt of the earth and the sun.

We went for Lunch after room 9 , 10, and they  went into the star dome. Meanwhile, room 7 and  8 went out to  play and and room 9 and 10 went inside the star dome to  talk about the solar system. We played in the park at the star dome was the flying fox, octopus, spider web, I went to have a ride on the octopus, i felt like i was floating away.

1. How does Thanh and his family look after the Thung Chai boat? Give as much detail as possible.

 sometimes  they cover their boat with palm fronds when they are not using them, to protect them from the  sun pouring it.                                                             

     2.    The boat is made from natural resources. What are the resources?they scrape off the outer skin and  then slice the poles into thin slat to make the bamboo easier to  weave they soak the slats in water  

     

     3.    Find pictures of all of the resources needed to make and care for this boat.most of his family own thung chai has painted their thung chai boats in number 7976 and painted them on his fishing boat.  

       

     4.  Would we be able to make these boats here in New Zealand?

        yes because we have those  reports.
