Sausages with cheese & chips 

Ingredients:

Sausages

Grated Cheese

1 Tomato

Method:

Slice the sausages in half (Not all the way through)

Top up with cheese and tomatoes

Bake for 10 mins

Serve with tomato sauce

Brownies

Ingredients:

Dry Ingredients

I C of Plain Flour

1 tsp of baking powder

1/4 c of cocoa

2 tbsp of coconut

Wet Ingredients

1/2 c of brown sugar

125g of melted butter

1 egg

1 tbsp of vanilla essence

Steps:

Preheat your oven to 180° 

Put 1 c of plain flour into a medium bowl

Next add 1 tsp of baking powder

Then add a 1/4 c of cocoa along with 2 tbsp of coconut

Now for the wet ingredients:

Add 1/2 a c of brown sugar to a large bowl

Melt 125g of butter and add it to the mixture

Crack one egg and add it to the mixture as well

Now add 1 tbsp of vanilla essence

 Add the ingredients together and mix well

Finally put it into a baking tin and bake until ready

Food Tech - Mince Pasta

Mince Pasta 

Ingredients:

- Pasta

- Mince

- Baked Beans

- Cheese

- Onions

- Mince

Materials

- Colander

- Wooden Spoon

- Small Pot

- Pan

- A small knife

Step 1 = Boil pasta with 2 cups of boiled water until it is soft

Step 2 - Drain out the cold water using a colander

Step 3 - Slice and dice your onions and fry until soft (Add in mince)

Step 4 - When cooked, add in your baked beans and mix for a few seconds

Step 5 - Place baking paper onto the pin and add in your mince mixture

Step 6 - Top of with cheese and bake fore 10 minutes. 

Last step - Place in a bowl and enjoy!

Kiwi Can-
Today for Kiwi Can I learnt how to respect for our community.
Respect for our community is doing the right thing at all times and keeping the community safe. Also showing others how to be good and to treat everyone with respect.
We also did some activities which was fun and everyone participated, that got the games fun and enjoyable. Most importantly I learnt how to respect others and how to communicate with them nicely.

Cooking Tech _ Tamaki College

Today we made fish pie which was amazingly delicious and yum.

Step one-Peel the potato and bake until it's cooked.
Step two-Mash it up and lay it out into the baking tin.
Step three-Mix tuna fish with half a can of mushroom cream and half a cup of mayo.
Lastly mix them well on top of the potato and top it up with cheese then bake it for 10 minutes.

Food Tech - Mince Pie

Mince Pie

Ingredients:

1 Onion
Mince

Frozen Veges

1/2 Cup of Water

Beef Stock

Spices & Pepper

Steps:

1. Dice and slice onion. Then fry until soft

2.  Add the mince and fry until it's cooked

3. Add mix veges and 1/2c of water

4. Mix with pepper, beef stock and spices.

Holiday Homework.

Holiday Homework...
During the holidays my class and I had been given homework's to do before we went home.
All the learning activities that I did was my Reading log, Collecting seeds, Math's, Writing, Riddles, Sudoku and also Good deeds.
I have completed all my tasks and I learnt so much how to play Sudoku which was surprising at first because it took me 2 days to learn it.
We also have prizes for  those people in room 7 that has finished their homework's.
What I love about holiday homework is that it keeps me learning even though i'm not at school.

Cooking Tech

During our first period, we went to cooking tech to make sweet chilli chicken. These were the steps to make the sweet chilli chicken :

Step One : Boil the chicken for 15 minutes.

Step Two : Lay it out on the tray.

Step Three : Top up with salt, white pepper, mix herbs and chilli sauce.

Step Four : Bake for 20 minutes.

Step Five : Enjoy the dish.

This was a fun hour of period cooking and we have learnt a lot about cooking!

Kiwi Can

Kiwi Can,

Today we learnt about Perseverance which was our topic for Kiwi Can.

Perseverance means to keep on trying so you could succeed. We also had two activities we played which was called pictionary and ball tag. In each game we had to show perseverance. We had so much fun and everyone participated. 

Music

Musics...

Today for music we played two songs while playing a ukulele. 

One of the songs we played are called le'aute which is a Samoan songs.

We also did activities which was guessing the instrument from different country's from 1 to 10.

I enjoyed listening to musics and also getting to play them on the ukulele which was so much fun and I would love to thank our musics teacher Mrs Bashnee.

Maths Problem

MATHS?
Today for Maths I learnt about consonant and the vowels of the words.

I also learnt about decimals and how to solve them using multiplications
and I learnt how to repeat the numbers and making them easy to solve.
Also making them into equal pieces. My group and I learnt so much today
and I enjoyed learning these new strategy.

Mathsmatics-Level 3

Today for Maths I've solved half of the questions that I could solve and some that I don't know which was Problem 3. In the beginning  I find it really confusing and challenging but when you understand the problem it's really not that hard to solve. I enjoyed doing Maths today and I also learnt something new.

This is my create work about Apollo 11. USA's first moon landing in the history of space exploration.

Learning about space

This term we have started off with our topic on Space. We have been learning about the space missions, the moon landing, the planets and also qualifications astronauts need. I am enjoying this topic because I am learning about how unique our solar system is.

Future 2018

In ICT Tech today we created a drawing on what we want to learn or do for 2018. What I would like to learn in 2018 is Filipino.
