The Strange Sinkhole

                         The Strange  Sinkhole

On a windy day my family and I went for a swim in the middle of the sea.  When we went under to catch some fish I saw a sinkhole in the middle of the sea.

After that  I went to see the sinkhole and I heard something moving at the back of me so I turned around and I looked to see what it was. It was nothing and when i looked back my brother was starting to pull the strange sinkhole.  I told my brother to stop pulling the sinkhole and he just did. After that nothing happened, we swam back to go to my family and suddenly  the sinkhole started to take everything in the sea. When I looked back to my brother, he got pulled by the sinkhole and I swam as fast as I could to my  family and my dad had an idea so we did what he told us to do. What we did was we got a rope and tied it up into a strong rock. When the sinkhole sucked the rope, my brother held on tight and we pulled the rope together at the same time. After that my brother came out from the sinkhole and we had the sinkholes lid and when the sinkhole sucked us in we so we closed the sinkhole.

When we closed the sinkhole, my family and I went back home to eat dinner and I really liked the part when we pulled my brother out from the sinkhole and if we didn’t pull him out from the sinkhole he would have stayed there forever….

Title: Finding Friday...

Author: Dale Henry.

Today I read about Finding Friday which was finding objects to earn more points.

I feel happy about what I read today because i like the class when they were working hard to get points and they were helping others and answering questions.

My favourite character was Mr Rainbow because he was really fun and he was trying to make the class, earn more points and trophies.  

I would feel happy if the same thing that happened to my character, happened to me because I will win the competition with my classmates and have a really cool gold medal.

I think if the author decided to write another part to this story this is what will happen that they got really cool trophy and they finally found Friday.
